The 31-year-old American golfer beat Australia’s Cameron Smith in a one-hole playoff. His recent win is one of two PGA Tour victories he has secured at The Northern Trust in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Meet Alayna Galea’i-Finau, wife of Tony Finau
Tony Finau is married to his wife, Alayna Galea’i-Finau. Like her husband, she too is 31 years old.
Not much is known about Alayna’s profession, however, she is gradually gaining popularity on social media.
She has over 7000 followers on Instagram, where she often posts pictures with her husband and kids. Alayna documents the family’s travels and day to day life.
She also has close to 2000 followers and over 28,000 likes on TikTok. Her goofy TikToks often feature her kids and husband. Alayna, who grew up near Honolulu, attended California’s Notre Dame de Namur University. She also used to play volleyball.
Like her husband, the golfer’s wife is a practising Mormon too.

A look at the PGA star’s kids
Tony, whose nationality is American, is of mixed Tongan and Samoan descent. He is a father of five.
The golfer and his wife Alayna’s kids are Jraice (10), Leilene Aiaga (9), Tony Jr. (6), Sage (5), and little Sienna-Vee Finau, who was born in July 2021.
In his past interviews, the 31-year-old golfer has stated that he would like to have more kids. He has also expressed that both he and his wife are hoping to raise a large family with at least five to six children.
Stating the reason behind his desire, Tony stated that it is fairly common amongst Polynesians to have big families. The golfer has five brothers and three sisters himself. His wife, on the other hand, has four siblings – three sisters and a brother.
American golfer’s Northern Trust win explored
Tony’s win at The Northern Trust on Monday came after approximately 143 starts and 1,975 days since his PGA Tour victory.
He shot 20-under-par 264, which also included the tournament-best round of 6-under 65. Since 2016, the golfer has come extremely close to winning with eight runner-up finishes, including four playoff holes and 39 top-10 finishes.
The prize purse for the Northern Trust 2021 was $9,500,000.
